About Coach

Softball and running were always my favorites growing up. I stopped playing earlier than I would have liked but running has been a constant stress relief. After having 3 kids and gaining weight I realized I needed to get back into taking care of myself, so I started CrossFit in 2017, and now that my kids are old enough to play I got back into softball as a coach and playing myself in rec leagues.

Turning Point

After having 3 kids and gaining weight I realized I needed to get back into taking care of myself, so I started CrossFit in 2017. I feel it is important to teach kids at a young age that staying active and healthy is important. For that reason, we have always made our kids play sports. One per season is the rule. Not only has that allowed my kids to find their love for sports but I have gotten back into it myself as a coach and playing. It has been hard at times to keep up with their schedules, work, and make time for myself to work out, but knowing how it makes me feel after has always pushed me to do better at making the time.

Motivation & Passion

My passion and motivation for coaching stem from my love of learning and teaching. If I can help someone else accomplish or learn something they wanted the satisfaction is the same as doing it myself.
