I’ve been involved in sports and recreation my whole life, personally, professionally, and everything in between. I grew up playing baseball, basketball, football, etc. and now I help coach my kids’ teams. I always enjoyed working out at gyms or at home but it wasn’t until I stumbled into a CrossFit box that I really loved working out. I wanted to become a coach so I could help spread that feeling to others.
The turning point in my life was the birth of my kids. I realized at that time that I needed to focus more on the health that I had in the past because I needed to be there for them. Physically as a father and also as an example of how we need to actively focus on staying healthy and fit.
I love coaching at CrossFit Panthera! I especially enjoy coaching those who are new to the sport. I love to see the look on their faces when they do a movement for the first time or set a new PR.
